Who was the party in power in 1929 when the stock market crashed?
Who was the party in power on 9/11?
Who was the party in power when we lost Vietnam?
Who was the party in power when our President resigned?
Who was the party in power when we gave up the Korean War?
Who was the party in power during the McCarthy Era?
Who was the party in power when Enron collapsed?
Who is the only party to claim a divorced President?
Who was the party in power that has racked up the largest budget deficits in history. Twice.
------------------------------------------------------
Who was the party in power that won WW I?
Who was the party in power that won WW II?
Who was the party in power when Nuclear weapons were developed and used?
Who was the party in power when women got the right to vote?
Who was the party in power when the Civil Rights bill was passed?
Who was the party in power when Social Security and Medicare were created?
Who was the party in power the last time we had a budget surplus?
---------------------------------------------------------
The answer to the first group is Republicans. The answer to the second group is Democrats. Why are the Republicans considered the party of National Security - when the only war they've "won" in the last 145 years was the first Iraq war? Oh - let's not forget Greneda. How can they be the party of limited Government and fiscal responsibility when they rack up huge deficits, cause the collapse of Wall Street through little to no regulation. They're big fat liars.
Republicans have held the White House for 28 of the last 40 years.
Republicans have controlled Congress for 14 of the last 16 years.
Yet they never admit to clear and utter failure. Failure in domestic policy and foreign policy. When will Americans recognize how badly they've been duped by these folks? They are NOT for the people, they are for big business, and that's fine. I have no problem with Conservative ideology - but Republicans are NOT Conservatives.
:-)

This week's show the theme is LOVE! I've gone through the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees. the moon up above - so naturally this week it's a thing called LOVE! Lots of classic country, New Orleans R&B, 70's and 80's punk/new wave, a few stray celebrity train wreck recordings - (Leonard Nimoy, Anthony Quinn) it's gonna be a doozy.
Tune in 9-11 PM EST Tuesday, July 1st 97.3 FM WRIR streaming online at www.wrir.org. I broadcast every dang-blammet week - same time, same channel. You can also check out archived shows at my Live365 station - www.live365.com/stations/juvenilehi .

This past week's WDCE Lee Show is posted at live365 in much-improved fidelity - digitally recorded off of an actual boombox in the station's studio - as opposed to the internet-stream I was posting in the past, and the bitrate is 128 kbps now as opposed to the 64 kbps I had been posting the shows. Better quality - listen in and enjoy. Anyone have an idea for a theme?
